That dress is on fire!

This second post of the thematic week is centered in regular day clothing, well just in dresses. Pin ups were sexy and girlie so they usually wore dresses to show off her legs. I took some inspiration on the internet, some of the pictures are from a special that the magazine Vanity Fair did last year were famous actresses pose like pin ups, I totally recommend it to you! Also before continuing reading I'm sharing with you one of the most famous songs during those years so you can put up your dress and go dancing! :)

Este segundo post de la semana temática está centrado en la ropa de diario, más especialmente en vestidos. Las pin ups eran sexys y femeninas así que normalmente llevaban vestido para enseñar sus piernas. He cogido alfunas fotos de inspiración de internet, algunas de ellas son de la revista Vanity Fair. La cual el año pasado hizo posar a unas cuantas actrices famosas como pin ups, os recomiendo totalmente ver las fotos de ese editorial! También, antes de continuar leyendo, os dejo un video con una de las canciones más famosas durante esos años para que os pongáis vuestro vestido y salgáis a bailar! :)

So here you have my selection of dresses! Two of them have polka dot print while the first one has small boats print and is a bit shorter. Then I've made a selection of three shoes to combine one of them with each dress. The most typical of that age was the shoes more similar to number two but in summer there were also espadrilles and sexy heel sandals like number one and three.

The accesories were usually small clutches or square bags, pearls as earrings and necklaces, small scarf for the hair, cat eye sunglasses and when the night turned a bit colder, they used cropped cardigans! I haven't included the tights, but that's because there will be another special post about the underwear ;)

Aquí está mi selección de vestidos! Dos de ellos tienen print de lunares mientras que le primero lo tiene de barquitos y además es un poco más corto. Después hice una selección de zapatos, uno para cada vestido. El zapato más típico de la época se parece más al número dos pero en verano también se llevaban las sandalias sexys the tacón y las de esparto como las número uno y tres.

Los accesorios eran generalmente bolsos pequeños y con forma cuadrada, perlas tanto en pendientes como en collares, pequeños pañuelos para la cabeza, gafas de sol de ojo de gato y para cuando refrescaba por la noche cardigans cortitos! No he incluido las medias pero las incluiré en otro post especial sobre la ropa interior ;)
